We begin with core obedience training and introduce essential retrieving commands:

Next, we complete foundational drills that build control and communication:

• Three-hand casting

• Swim-by drills

These exercises develop directional control and water confidence—key skills for any hunting retriever.

Phase 3: Field Application

We take your dog’s training into real-world environments:

• Simple land and water marks

• Hunting in cover

• Introduction to multiple retrieves

This phase bridges the gap between yard work and field performance.

Phase 4: Hunting Scenarios

Your dog will be exposed to a variety of realistic hunting setups:

• Land and water retrieves from dog stands

• Simulated hunting conditions
